Getting started

Create your first property video

Start from a listing URL or upload your photos, choose your options, then review and share the finished tour.

In this guide

Two ways to start your property tour

You can start in two ways: import a listing URL to bring in the property’s photos and details, or upload photos from your device. Both lead to the same tour settings.

Before you start: check your allowance

Your free starting allowance is one-time. A new property tour uses your video allowance; optional AI work can also use AI credits. Import or upload the photos you want before creating, because adding new photos to an existing tour needs a paid plan.

Create a property video from your photos

This video shows the photo-upload journey. To start from an advertised property instead, follow the Listing URL instructions here.

Watch on YouTube

1. Choose the industry and listing goal

  1. Open Create a video in the sidebar. Choose the industry that fits the property, such as Real Estate or Airbnb / Vacation Rental.
  2. Check Listing goal: For sale, Long-term rental or Vacation rental. This affects the wording prepared for the property.
  3. Check any photos and information already in the form. They may belong to a previous draft.
Start with your property photosExample
  1. Choose the industry for your property.
  2. Drop your photos here, or select browse.

2A. Start from a listing URL

If the property is already advertised on a supported site, importing its listing can save you uploading each photo and typing the same facts again.

  1. Open the individual property’s listing page and copy its full web address.
  2. Paste it into Listing URL, below the photo upload area, and select Import Listing once.
  3. Wait for the photos and property details to appear. Then continue with the review below.
  • The field lists Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, Realtor.ca, Rightmove, Zoopla, Realestate.com.au, Domain.com.au and Airbnb.
  • Use the property page, rather than a search results page, agent profile or 3D-tour link. If import is unavailable or fails, use the photo-upload option.
Paste a listing link to bring in its photos and detailsExample
  1. Copy the address of the individual property listing.
  2. Select Import Listing once, then wait for the photos.

2B. Or upload photos from your device

  1. Use clear photos of the exterior, living spaces, bedrooms and standout features. You can use up to 60 photos.
  2. Drop the images into the upload area, or select browse. JPEG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC are listed, up to 50 MB each.
  3. Wait for the uploads and thumbnails to finish before continuing. Existing video footage can be added later in the editor.
Upload your own property photosExample
  1. Drop your files here or choose browse.

3. Check the photos and their order

  1. Check the photo count and scroll through the full strip. Remove duplicates, agency logos, floor plans or unrelated pictures you do not want animated.
  2. Leave Automatically rearrange my photos with AI on to let the app arrange them.
  3. For your own sequence, turn off automatic rearrangement and filename sorting. Select Reorder photos, drag them into order and select Save order.
Review the photos before making the tourExample
  1. Check how many photos were imported.
  2. Remove a duplicate, logo or unrelated image.

4. Check the property information

  1. Open Add Property Information if the fields are collapsed. After an import, check every value that came across.
  2. Confirm the address, price, surface, beds and bathrooms. Include currency and units, such as $950,000 and 167 m²; for rent, include the period when needed.
  3. Read the description. Correct outdated details and remove claims you have not confirmed. Fill automatically, when offered, can extract facts from this description.
Check the imported facts and complete anything missingExample
  1. Read the description and correct the listing facts.
  2. Use the full address, including the city and country.
  3. Include the area unit, such as m² or sq ft.

5. Choose the agent for this listing

  1. In Video settings, find Agent and check the selected identity.
  2. Choose your profile or a saved agent. Use Edit to check contact details and supply missing images. Choose No agent branding if that is what this version needs.
  3. Confirm the name, phone, email and website before generating. An imported listing does not replace this check.
Choose the agent before generatingExample
  1. Choose whose name and contact details this listing uses.
  2. Review or complete this agent’s details.

6. Choose the video shape

Under Aspect ratio, choose Horizontal (16:9) for a wide website player or presentation, Vertical (9:16) for an upright phone screen, or Square (1:1) for a square placement. Check the framing again in the finished video.

Choose the shape for the place you will shareExample
  1. Choose vertical, horizontal or square.

7. Choose language and on-screen words

  1. Set Language before preparing captions and narration. Review the generated wording in that language.
  2. In Captions Style, use Add captions for room descriptions. Choose the writing style and personalize the appearance when needed.
  3. Use Add info overlay separately for opening property facts. Choose its design and check Overlay headline when offered, such as JUST LISTED or FOR RENT.
Choose captions and the opening property overlayExample
  1. Turn room captions on or off.
  2. Choose the design for the opening property facts.
  3. Write a short headline that fits this listing.

8. Add narration if you want it

  1. Turn on Add a voiceover. Write your script or choose Generate a script using the checked property description and address.
  2. Read every sentence, following the room order. Use Modify if you need to unlock an existing script.
  3. Select a voice and listen to its sample when available. Keep the script short enough to follow comfortably.
Write or prepare the narration before launchingExample
  1. Ask for a first draft using the listing details.
  2. Read and edit the words buyers will hear.

Optional: appear as the presenter

In AI Avatar, turn on Add an AI avatar, choose the number of avatar videos, add your portrait and select a voice. Review the added cost before launch. For a reusable introduction without one property’s details, use My branding instead.

Add a presenter when creating the property tourExample
  1. Turn on the optional presenter for this tour.
  2. Add a clear portrait of the intended presenter.

9. Choose the soundtrack

Keep Background music on if you want a soundtrack. Choose music automatically lets the app choose from the selected music type. Turn it off to preview and select a particular track. You can balance its volume against narration in the editor afterwards.

Let the app choose music, or select it yourselfExample
  1. Choose whether the tour has background music.
  2. Turn this off to choose a particular track.

10. Choose optional animations

For a first listing, start with restrained camera movement and use extra effects only where they help show the property. With at least 30 photos, Templates also offers Walkthrough Tour for a room-to-room route.

  1. In AI Animations, review Quality and Number of photos to animate with AI.
  2. Open Choose which photo to animate if you want to pick particular views. Otherwise, the app chooses.
  3. Select the effects you want. With an address entered, AI Drone shot is also available. Review the total after changing the options.
Choose the animation quality, amount and effectsExample
  1. Choose a quality and check the resulting credit total.
  2. Choose how many photos to animate.
  3. Select the effects you want; a drone shot also needs an address.

11. Choose the cover image

In Video thumbnail, choose a layout and accent colour. Review the optional High-quality thumbnail choice and its displayed cost. Turn Add an AI thumbnail off if you want to keep the first photo as the cover. You can choose a different cover later in Share.

Choose the cover design before creating the videoExample
  1. Turn this off to keep the first photo as the cover.
  2. Choose your accent colour and optional higher-quality cover.

12. Decide whether you also want a reel

Add an AI Reel creates a separate promotional video alongside your tour. Open it only if you need that extra output now, choose its type and complete its options. Remove the AI Reel closes the add-on if you change your mind before launch.

Add a separate social reel alongside your tourExample
  1. Choose the message or occasion for this reel.

13. Check the summary and generate once

  1. Review the credit amount shown for your current choices. Screenshots show example amounts, not a quote for your project.
  2. If there are warnings under the button, select each warning to return to the missing setting. Finish any ongoing upload or script preparation.
  3. Select Generate My Video Tour once, or Generate My Video Tour + Reel if you included the add-on.
  4. Return through View my videos if you leave. Reopen the same project to check progress.
Review the total and launch your tourExample
  1. Generate once after checking your choices.
  2. Review the total for this set of options.

14. Review, correct and share

  1. When the full preview is ready, watch it all the way through with sound. Check the room order, property facts, captions, pronunciation and agent details.
  2. Make corrections in the editor. Finish the relevant save or narration update, then select Apply the changes and wait for the updated video.
  3. Download the finished file, or open Share to copy the MLS viewing link. Share also offers a property page with listing information and an enquiry form.
Review and finish your videoExample
  1. Download the finished video.
  2. Apply your edits to update the finished video.

If something needs correcting after the first preview

  • Wrong room order: use Reorder scenes in Editor, save the order and check the narration.
  • Wrong fact on screen: correct the relevant caption or property field.
  • Wrong spoken fact: update the voiceover script and make new audio.
  • Wrong contact details: check Property info → Agent for this video.
Recognize when the finished video still needs updatingExample
  1. Open this reminder to review the changes waiting to be applied.
  2. Build the finished video from the saved edits.

If photos from another listing appear

Review unfinished draft photos before creating. After editing an existing tour, apply the changes and check its new finished version. If the wrong property remains, compare the source photos with the scene and finished previews.
