Create a Walkthrough Tour

Choose photos that connect

A walkthrough works best when viewers can understand how one space leads to the next. Include useful views of connecting rooms and doorways, and avoid relying on several versions of the same shot.

Review your walkthrough

Templates appears after you upload at least 30 photos. The proposed route may use fewer of them; photos marked Not in the walk remain on the project but are left out of the walkthrough. Review the sequence, especially when the listing spans multiple floors.

1. Upload at least 30 photos to reveal Templates, then choose Walkthrough Tour.
2. Select Organize the photos, then review the proposed route in the walkthrough preview.
3. Review which photos are included and make any available adjustments before launching.
4. Check the displayed credit summary, then generate your tour.

Follow the route in numbered order

Read the numbered photos and follow the arrows. On a wide screen, the route can return in the opposite direction on the next row. On a phone, the photos and directions read down the page. Use the numbers rather than assuming every row runs left to right.

Adjust the route and camera directions

Route changes save automatically. After a large rearrangement, Regenerate directions can prepare directions for the new sequence; review the amount or confirmation shown before starting.

1. Drag a photo to change its place in the route. The first photo starts the walkthrough.
2. Use the × on a photo to leave it out. Photos in Not in the walk can be added back with Add back.
3. Read the words on each arrow. They describe how the camera should move between those two photos.
4. Edit a direction when needed. For example: “Move through the doorway into the kitchen.”
5. Check the saved indication and review the full route again.

Choose a movement or a simple change of view

A transition tries to connect two photos with camera movement. Use a short, concrete direction such as “Move through the doorway into the kitchen”. Keep it within the 90-character field limit.

1. Where + Add a transition is shown, select it if you want to connect that pair with movement.
2. Enter a direction that the photos support.
3. Use the direction’s remove control if the two views should simply change without that movement.
4. Review the saved indication before moving on.

Restore the proposed route or revise its directions

Reset restores the original proposed photo order. Regenerate directions keeps your current order and prepares new movement instructions for the neighboring photos. Review every new direction. A photo removed with × remains under Not in the walk and can be restored with Add back.

Watch the finished result

Look for unexpected jumps between rooms or a sequence that could confuse a viewer. You can adjust the scene order in the editor and apply the changes.

What an order change can and cannot fix later

You can reorder scenes in the finished tour’s editor, but that does not recreate camera movement already inside a clip. If the movement itself is wrong, review the affected scene and choose an appropriate existing version or make a new one before applying the video changes.
