Choose music and balance the volume
Set the mood while keeping the property and narration in focus.
In this guide
Choose your soundtrack
- Open Music in the editor.
- Choose from Free stock music, Trending music, AI music or Upload music.
- Listen to a preview and select the track you want.
- For your own music, upload a file accepted by the picker.
- 1Preview a track before choosing it.
- 2Select the track you want for your video.
Choose music before the first video is made
In Create a video, use Background music to include a soundtrack. Leave Choose music automatically on and choose the music type, or turn it off to preview and select a specific track. In the finished tour’s Music tab, you can change the track and balance its volume as described below.
- 1Choose whether the tour has background music.
- 2Turn this off to choose a particular track.
Find a track that fits the property
In Free stock music, use the mood checkboxes to narrow the list. Clear them to see the full available selection again. Preview a track with its play button, then select the track name to use it.
- 1Choose a mood to filter the music list.
Playing a sample does not choose the track
Use the play button to listen, then select the track name or selection control to use it. Check the highlighted selection before leaving Music. If you switch music sources, confirm the final choice again rather than assuming the last preview became the soundtrack.
Save the volume, then update the tour
- Open Music and keep Background music turned on.
- Move the Music volume slider to make the track quieter or louder.
- Select the Save button that appears beside the changed slider.
- Apply the changes to rebuild the tour, then listen with the voiceover playing.
- 1Adjust the volume, then select Save.
Set the volume with the narration playing
- Choose the soundtrack and play a part of the tour that contains speech.
- Lower Music volume until street names and numbers are easy to hear.
- Select Save beside the slider, apply the changes and listen to the finished video at an ordinary device volume.
Apply and check
Apply the changes and play the updated video. If you do not want a soundtrack, turn music off and apply again. For your own or trending tracks, check that you have the rights needed for your intended use and destination.
Make a tour without background music
Turn Background music off, then apply the changes. This removes the chosen soundtrack from the updated tour. Voiceover and sound inside individual video scenes are separate; check their controls too if you want a completely silent result.
Keep the listing easy to hear
For a narrated property tour, choose a track that supports the pace of the video and turn it down until every spoken word is clear. For a video without narration, listen for sudden loud sections or a mood that distracts from the home.
If a social network or property portal flags the music
Check the selected track and the platform’s notice. The copyright guide explains attribution, switching soundtracks and exporting without music. No music source is a guarantee against every destination’s restrictions.
