My video received a music copyright claim

Check what the platform is flagging

1. Read the platform’s notice and note the track name, affected time and whether the video is blocked, muted or subject to a claim.
2. Open your tour’s Music tab and check the selected source and track. Playing a sample does not select it.
3. Also check uploaded scene footage for music recorded inside the clip. Turning Background music off does not remove sound inside a scene.
4. Keep the notice and the listing link if you need help identifying the source.

Choose a track for the destination where you will post

A track that works on one destination may still be restricted elsewhere. Do not assume that a track is cleared for every social network, business account or property portal.

• Free stock music: open Credits to add wherever you post your video and include the supplied acknowledgement where applicable. Check the track’s terms for your intended use.
• Trending music: being offered in the app does not establish permission for every website, business account or advertisement.
• Upload music: use a file you have the rights to use for this purpose.
• AI music: you can generate an alternative soundtrack, but do not treat that as a guarantee against every platform’s claim or restriction.

Replace the track in VideoTour.ai

1. In Music, preview another suitable track and select it.
2. Adjust Music volume if needed and choose Save beside the changed slider.
3. Apply the changes and listen to the finished tour.
4. Download the updated file and use it for your new upload. A previously uploaded social post does not update automatically.

Export without background music

Voiceover and a scene’s original sound have separate controls. Keep the narration on if you only want to remove background music.

1. Open Music and turn Background music off.
2. Apply the changes and wait for the updated video.
3. Play it to confirm that the unwanted soundtrack is gone, then download the new version.

For a video already posted on YouTube or another platform

Keep a copy of your original video before editing it on a posting platform. YouTube may offer Replace song, Erase song or trimming for claimed content. Use the options shown for your video. Other destinations have their own process; follow the notice they provide.

Only dispute a claim when you have the rights and supporting information required by that platform. VideoTour.ai cannot remove a platform’s claim from your account. If the original tour still contains music after you disabled it and applied, send support the tour link and the affected time.
