Keep or mute a scene’s own sound
Control sound from a video clip separately from the tour’s music and voiceover.

Know which sound you are changing
- Music: the background soundtrack chosen in the Music tab.
- Voiceover: the narration prepared in the Voiceover tab.
- Scene audio: sound already inside one video clip, such as a presenter or outdoor activity.
Decide which voice the viewer should hear
Keep audio for a useful spoken introduction in an uploaded clip. Turn it off if the clip contains camera handling noise or background conversation that distracts from the tour’s narration. For ambience, listen first; it may work well in a quiet outdoor scene but clash with a busy soundtrack.
Use Keep audio when it is available
A clip that keeps its audio plays at its own natural length, so the Longer duration option may no longer appear.
- Find the video scene in the editor.
- Look for Keep audio in its settings.
- Turn it on to retain that clip’s sound, or off to leave that sound out.
- Apply the changes and listen to this scene in the finished tour.

If there is no Keep audio option
Still photos have no recorded sound. The control can also be absent for a silent clip, an avatar scene or a reel. An avatar scene keeps the presenter’s spoken line; use the avatar voiceover controls if that line needs to change.
Check audio after trimming
Start and End choose the portion of a video clip used in the tour. If the clip contains speech, trim between sentences rather than in the middle of a word. Watch and listen to the finished sequence after applying the changes.

- 2End before the part you want to leave out.
Listen in context
Play the scene before, the scene itself and the scene after it. Listen for sudden changes in volume, repeated narration or music overpowering speech. If you also adjusted the soundtrack, save its volume before applying the tour changes.

Find the source of unwanted sound
- Play the individual scene to check whether the sound belongs to its clip.
- Check Keep audio for that scene, then check the separate Music and Voiceover tabs.
- Change only the relevant sound choice, apply the changes and replay the same point in the finished video.
