Add motion, staging and other scene effects

Choose the effect that fits your listing

A scene is one photo or video clip in your tour. These tools change that scene. Use this guide to choose an effect, follow its first steps and open the full walkthrough when you need more detail.

Open the tools for the right scene

1. Open your video in the editor and scroll to the photo or clip you want to change.
2. Under a still photo, select Animate the Photo with AI. Under an existing clip, look for Change the Animation. On a computer, moving your pointer over the photo or clip also reveals shortcuts to individual tools.
3. Check the selected photo at the top of the window. This helps you avoid adding an effect to the wrong room.

Switch between the six AI tools

The tabs beneath the selected photo open AI Motion, 3D Text, AI Lifestyle, AI Staging, AI Transitions and AI Avatar. Choose the tab for the effect you want; opening a tab does not generate or apply an effect. Standard motion is outside this window, on the scene card.

Standard motion: a gentle pan or zoom

Use this for a straightforward tour that shows the existing photograph. For example, a slow pan can draw attention across a wide living room without generating a new view.

1. On a still-photo scene, turn on Standard motion.
2. Open Motion style and choose a pan or zoom, or keep Automatic.
3. Select Apply the changes when your edits are ready, then review the movement in the finished tour.

AI Motion: turn a photo into a moving shot

Choose AI Motion when you want the camera to appear to move through or around the view. Keep the instruction small and specific: “Slowly move toward the front door. Keep the building unchanged.”

1. Open AI Motion. Describe the motion you want, or open Or choose a preset here and choose a movement.
2. If you have another view of the same space, use Add a second photo from a different angle. Do not pair unrelated rooms.
3. Choose the duration and output quality. Check the credit total after changing these options, then select Generate the animation.
4. Play the result all the way through. Check that doors, windows and the layout still match the listing.

AI Staging: furnish, restyle or declutter

Staging can help buyers imagine an empty room furnished. It also offers decluttering, restyling and exterior changes. Choose a transformation that matches what you intend to present: furnishing a room and showing a possible renovation tell different stories.

1. Open AI Staging. Under Staging templates, choose Transformation Type, then Property Area and Design Style where offered.
2. For a more specific brief, switch to Custom instructions. For example: “Furnish this living room with a small sofa and a coffee table. Keep the windows and doorways unchanged.”
3. For a still image, leave the reveal style unselected. To show the transformation happening, choose a reveal style under Virtual staging animations.
4. Check the output shape and credit total, then select Generate AI Staging. Review the room layout and the size and placement of the added items.

3D Text: put a short headline into the scene

Use 3D Text for words that look placed inside the property photo, such as JUST LISTED or COVERED PATIO. Ordinary captions are edited on the scene card; generated 3D lettering has its own creation step.

1. Open 3D Text. Pick a relevant suggestion or enter a short message in Add 3D text here. Check the spelling and the displayed length limit.
2. Keep placement on Automatic, or choose Specify Location and describe where the words should appear. Choose a 3D Text Style.
3. Leave AI Animation Style unselected for a still image, or choose an animation for moving text. Check the output shape and credit total before generating.
4. Read the words in the generated result. To change them later, edit the text and generate a new result before applying the tour.

AI Lifestyle: show an activity in the space

Use a lifestyle clip to suggest how a space could be enjoyed, such as someone reading in the living room or walking along the existing front path. Keep the activity simple and suited to what the photo actually shows.

1. Open AI Lifestyle. Under Choose the people, choose an option or leave Automatic selected.
2. Under Describe the scene, use Scene Templates to choose a category and activity. Or open Custom instructions and write one clear action.
3. Choose the output shape, check the credit total and select Generate lifestyle video.
4. Preview the people, their movements and the property. Listen to any sound in the clip before using it in your tour.

AI Transitions: create a property reveal

This tool makes a reveal from the selected property photo, with styles such as Twilight, Golden Hour or Day to Night. It does not automatically join two neighboring scenes. For a simple fade between scenes, use the editor’s Fade-in transition control.

1. Open AI Transitions, then open Select a Transition and choose a style.
2. If you want lettering in the reveal, enable Add 3D Text and complete the text choices that appear.
3. Choose the output shape and check the total before selecting Generate transition video.
4. Watch the full reveal. Check that the building stays recognizable and any added words are correct.

AI Avatar: add a speaking presenter

Use a presenter for a short introduction, such as “Welcome to this lakefront home. Let me show you around.” The presenter’s speech belongs to this clip; the tour’s main narration is controlled separately in Voiceover.

1. Open AI Avatar. Upload a clear photo of yourself, or choose one from previous photos. Use a photo with one clearly visible face.
2. Under Choose your opening line, pick a suggestion or open Custom hook and write your own. Check the wording against the property.
3. Choose the language and a voice. Review the optional Use AI Staging for this scene and Add trending subtitles choices; these can change the total cost.
4. Check the total, select Generate avatar and wait for the clip. Watch the face, listen to the words and check the background before applying it.

Check whether you are making a photo or a clip

Staging and 3D Text can produce a still image. Choosing a reveal or animation adds a moving result. AI Motion, AI Lifestyle, AI Transitions and AI Avatar produce clips. Check your selected options and the generation button before starting.

• Check the credit total after selecting all your options. Generating a replacement is a new paid attempt, even when you are changing the same scene.
• Where offered, choose an output shape that matches your tour: horizontal, vertical or square.
• An AI clip’s own resolution is separate from the finished tour’s export resolution. Raising the export resolution does not recreate a low-resolution clip.

Put the result into the finished tour

Generating a scene and updating the finished tour are separate steps. A result can be ready on its scene card while the main preview still shows the earlier tour.

1. Wait for the finished photo or playable clip. If several versions are available, choose the one you want; Selected marks the active choice.
2. Check the scene’s caption and, for a clip, its trim and sound alongside the new effect.
3. Select Apply the changes by the main tour preview. Wait for the updated tour to finish.
4. Play the affected part in the main preview, then download the updated video. An MP4 you downloaded earlier will still contain the old version.

Change a result or return to a simpler version

1. To change movement, wording or styling, reopen the effect, adjust the relevant choice and check the cost before generating again. Editing the instruction alone does not remake the existing result.
2. To reuse an available take, open Select previous videos and choose the clip you prefer. For still images, use Select previous photos.
3. To stop using an AI clip, choose Remove the AI animation. Check the photo now shown; if you need the original, select it from the photo history where available. You can then use Standard motion.
4. Select Apply the changes and check the finished tour again.

Review the effect as a listing agent

Before sharing, compare the result with the original photo. Check windows, doors, room proportions, furniture, exterior features and views. Read generated lettering and listen to spoken details. An attractive effect is only useful when it presents the property appropriately.

Choose effects before creating a new tour

If you have not created the tour yet, you can choose animations after importing a listing URL or uploading photos. In Create a video, open AI Animations to choose the quality, how many photos to animate and which effects to include. Review the credit total before starting.

Once the tour exists, use the scene tools above to change a particular photo or clip.
