I generated an effect, but it is not in my video
Check whether an avatar, animation or other effect is still being made, available on a scene, or waiting to be applied.
In this guide
Start with the scene or tool where you generated it
A generation and the finished tour are separate steps. Depending on the tool, credits may be taken when work starts or after it succeeds. A balance change alone does not tell you whether the finished video contains the result.
| Current state | Next step |
|---|---|
| The scene or tool is still generating | Keep the project and wait for that action; do not launch another copy. |
| The scene plays the new result but the full tour does not | Apply the changes and wait for the finished tour. |
| The result is in the scene history | Select the version you want, preview it, then apply. |
| The action failed or stopped | Check the returned credits and report a missing return; do not assume a new attempt is free. |
| You created it in My branding | Select that reusable asset in the target tour before applying. |
- 1This scene is still generating. Wait for its playable result before applying.
Check the scene’s available versions
A newly completed scene avatar normally becomes the scene’s current clip automatically. You do not always need to select it manually. Check the history if you switched to another version or are looking for a different take.
History contains completed media versions, not every attempted generation. A failed or unfinished attempt may have no playable take.
- Open the same project and scene where you started the effect.
- Play the current scene. If it is not the result you want, expand Select previous videos when available.
- Select the completed version you want to use. For a still-image effect, check the photo versions instead.
- Watch the selected result, then Apply the changes.
- 1Open the previous videos for this scene.
- 2Preview a take, then select the version you want.
If you created the asset in My branding
A reusable avatar introduction, logo animation or music track stays in your library until you choose it for a tour. Open the target video and select the asset in Branding or Music, as appropriate. Then apply the tour changes.
- 1Turn on the intro for this tour.
- 2Choose the saved clip you want to use.
If the work is taking a long time
Watch the status for the action you started, rather than repeatedly pressing Generate. A full tour can still be waiting for another scene, audio or final assembly after one effect finishes.
If progress has stopped, use the processing guide and contact support with the project link, effect, scene and approximate start time. There is no single completion time for every tool.
Check a failed action without paying again
When a charged attempt is confirmed failed by the app’s recovery checks, its outstanding AI-credit charge is returned automatically. An action that only charges on success should not keep a charge for an unsuccessful result.
On plans with My usage, check the action’s net credits and any return. Otherwise check the balance in My profile and contact support if it still looks wrong.
A completed result you dislike is different from a failed generation. A new attempt has its own cost; trimming or choosing an existing version can avoid another generation.
- 1The failed action is identified in its own row.
- 2The original charge is crossed out; the net cost is zero.
