Use a previous photo or video version
Compare the available versions of a scene and choose the one you prefer.
In this guide
Find the scene history
Open the scene you want to adjust and look for its photo history or Select previous videos. These choices appear when earlier versions are available for that scene.
- 1Open the previous videos for this scene.
- 2Preview a take, then select the version you want.
Photo history and video history are different
Select previous photos lets you change the still image used for a scene. Select previous videos lets you choose an earlier moving version. Open the relevant list, preview the available version and select it.
- Open Select previous photos for still images. Use Original photos or AI photos to find the version you need.
- Choose Select on that photo; Selected marks the current choice.
- Use Select previous videos for moving takes instead. Preview the clip before choosing it.
- Check the current caption, trim and audio, then apply the tour changes.
- 1Selected marks the original photo currently used in this scene.
Compare the same details in each version
- For movement, check the start and end of the clip and any distortion around windows or railings.
- For staging, compare the room layout and permanent features with the source photo.
- For text, check spelling and whether the letters cover the property.
- For a speaking scene, listen to the whole line before choosing.
Choose a version
- Preview the available takes or photos.
- Select the version you want to use.
- Check its duration, caption and sound settings.
- Apply the changes to include it in the finished video.
Check what did not change with the media
Choosing an earlier image or clip does not mean the caption, narration, scene order and all tour settings have returned to that date. Review those choices on the current scene. If you restore an earlier video take, check its trim and audio before applying the tour changes.
If you want to use the original photograph
Look in Select previous photos for the original image, when available. Choosing an earlier moving take uses video history instead. If the file you need is absent, keep your original source file and use Change the photo or Change the video to replace the scene, then review its text.
What the history covers
Scene history contains the media versions available for that scene. It is not a full undo history for every edit to the tour. If a version is not listed, contact support with the video link and explain what you are trying to recover.
If a generated result is missing from the tour
Check the scene’s current result and available history before generating again. A result that plays correctly on its own still needs to be included in the finished tour by applying the changes.
