Furnish or restyle a room with AI Staging
Help viewers picture a space while keeping the property’s real features clear.
In this guide
Choose a clear room photo
A wide, well-lit photo makes it easier to understand the layout. Open that scene’s AI Staging tool and check the source photo before choosing a transformation.
Use the guided choices
- Stay on Staging templates.
- Choose Transformation Type first. For an unfurnished interior, choose Furnish Empty Room (Virtual Staging).
- Choose the Property Area, then an available Design Style. Later choices become available after earlier ones are set.
- If you prefer to describe the result yourself, switch to Custom instructions.
- 1Choose the change you want to make first.
- 2Then choose the room and an available design style.
Write your own staging instructions
- Open AI Staging on the room’s scene.
- Choose Custom instructions and write what you want in Transformation instructions.
- Name the room, the furnishing style and what must stay as it is. For example: “Add a small dining table for four and warm neutral chairs. Keep the doors, windows and kitchen unchanged.”
- Choose a reveal only if you want an animated result. Check the button and cost, then generate.
- 1Name the furnishings and the features that must stay.
Keep custom instructions specific
Example: “Furnish this empty living room with a sofa, rug and coffee table. Keep the existing windows, doors and room layout.” Describe changes to the furnishings and presentation clearly.
Choose whether to add a reveal
The reveal options add a before-and-after animation to the staged image. Choose one if that presentation suits the tour, or leave the reveal unselected when you only need the staged image. Review the displayed cost after changing the options.
Choose a picture or a before-and-after reveal
Without a reveal style, the action says Generate AI Staging and creates a staged image for the scene. With a reveal selected, it says Generate AI Staging Video. Use the remove-choice control if you change your mind about the reveal before generating.
Review the result before sharing
- Generate once and wait for the result.
- Compare it with the original photo, especially permanent features and room proportions.
- Check the scene’s place in the tour and apply the video changes.
- Present the image as virtually staged where your brokerage or listing destination requires it.
- 1Selected marks the original photo currently used in this scene.
Review it as if you were showing a buyer
- Can the furniture fit without blocking doors or access to the room?
- Are windows, stairs, ceiling height and the view still consistent with the source photo?
- Does the scene show a furnishing idea clearly, without suggesting an uncompleted renovation is already real?
- Does the next scene use a compatible view of the same space?
Check the cost before making another version
Generating a new version is a new AI attempt and uses the credits shown for your selected options. A result that finishes but is not the look you wanted is different from a technical failure. Compare existing takes before paying to generate again.
