A recording or a reusable voice?
Upload a voiceover is for a finished recording you want to hear in this tour. Clone a voice, in My branding, prepares a reusable voice that can read a new script for future listings. Choose the finished recording option if you already narrated this particular property.
Prepare a clear recording
Record in a quiet room and speak at a comfortable pace. Keep background music out of the recording so you can control it separately in the video. The upload area accepts MP3, M4A and WAV.
Record to the order of your photos
- Arrange the tour’s scenes first and write one short description for each main space.
- Record the narration in that same order, leaving natural pauses between rooms.
- Listen to the file before uploading. Remove long silences, false starts and background interruptions.
Upload and synchronize
- Open Voiceover in the editor.
- Choose Upload a voiceover and select your audio file.
- Wait for the upload to finish.
- Use Synchronize voiceover to match the recording to the tour.
- Review the result, then apply your changes.
- 1Upload your finished MP3, M4A or WAV recording.
- 2Match your recording to the scenes.
Uploading and matching the scenes are different
An uploaded recording still needs Synchronize voiceover. This step matches the words to the scenes. Wait for its status to finish before applying the video. If it reports a problem, use the offered retry action once and allow it to complete.
- 1Wait for alignment to finish before applying the video.
Check the fit
If your recording describes more than the photos show, shorten the script or adjust the scenes. A very long recording can make a short tour feel slow.
Replace a recording with a corrected version
- Correct the recording outside the app and keep a clearly named copy.
- Return to Upload a voiceover and choose the corrected file when the current work has finished.
- Synchronize the new recording, apply the changes and listen to the corrected phrase in the finished tour.
