Match the voiceover to your scenes
Keep the spoken story and the rooms on screen together.
In this guide
Find the mismatch
Watch the tour with sound and note where the voice starts describing a different room from the one on screen. Check the scene order and the wording of the voiceover before making changes.
Watch the walkthrough
The video shows narration in an existing tour’s editor. During initial creation, use the Voiceover options shown in the screenshot.
Watch on YouTubeStart with the kind of narration you used
- Generated voice: correct the full script or the scene’s Voiceover script, then generate or update the audio using the action shown.
- Your own recording: use Upload a voiceover and Synchronize voiceover. Re-record any spoken factual error first.
- Avatar introduction: use the avatar scene’s own script and voiceover action. It is separate from the main narration.
For a generated voiceover
- Open Voiceover and inspect the script and scene parts that are available.
- Correct the words in the part that belongs to the scene.
- Use the voiceover update action shown for those changes.
- Wait for audio preparation and synchronization to finish.
- Apply the changes and listen to the full result again.
- 1Edit this room’s narration, then leave the field to save.
For an uploaded voiceover
Use Synchronize voiceover from the upload section. If the app reports a synchronization problem, use the offered retry action and wait for its result before starting another attempt.
- 1Upload your finished MP3, M4A or WAV recording.
- 2Match your recording to the scenes.
What to do while alignment is running
The status message tells you when the app is matching narration to scenes. Allow that step to finish before uploading another recording or applying the video. If it fails repeatedly, send support the video link and exact message instead of starting several overlapping attempts.
- 1Wait for alignment to finish before applying the video.
Example: the kitchen appears during bedroom narration
- Check whether the kitchen and bedroom scenes were reordered after the narration was prepared.
- Put the photos in the intended order and check the words assigned to those scenes.
- Complete the voiceover update or Synchronize voiceover for the type of audio you used.
- Wait for alignment to finish, apply the changes and play from the scene before the mismatch.
Check the tour room by room
- Play the video from the beginning and listen while watching the photos.
- Pause if the narration describes a room that is not on screen.
- Check whether the scene order changed or the script mentions a room that is missing.
- Correct the order or words, complete the appropriate voiceover update or synchronization, and apply the video changes.
If the finished video still uses the old words
Check the new audio, image or clip first, then apply the tour and download its new finished version. If an attempt finishes with the old wording, use the troubleshooting guide before starting another paid run.
