Use your own voice for future voiceovers

Create a reusable voice that can read a new script for each listing.

In this guide

What a reusable voice does

The app calls this Clone a voice. You provide a clear sample of your own speech, then use the resulting voice to read different property scripts. You still write or review the words for every listing.

Prepare a clear sample

  1. Open My branding, choose AI voices and select Clone a voice.
  2. Record at least 10 seconds of clear speech, with no music or background conversation.
  3. Upload an MP3, M4A or WAV file, or use the recording option shown.
  4. Listen to the sample before continuing.
Prepare a reusable version of your voiceExample
  1. Upload a clear recording with only your voice.

Record a sample in the app

  1. Open the recording option under Clone a voice and select Start Recording.
  2. Allow microphone access if your browser asks. Speak naturally for at least 10 seconds using the displayed text or your own words.
  3. Select Stop Recording and listen to the sample. Use Record again if it contains interruptions or is too short.
  4. Select Use this recording for the usable take, then complete the voice name and language before selecting Clone the voice.

If the microphone does not work

Check the browser’s microphone permission and that the intended microphone is connected. Close another application if it is occupying the microphone. You can also make a recording separately and upload an accepted MP3, M4A or WAV file instead.

Name and create the voice

  1. Enter a name you will recognize, such as “Alex — English”.
  2. Choose the language and review any displayed cost or message.
  3. Select Clone the voice and wait for it to become available in My AI voices.
  4. If the sample is too short, make a longer recording before trying again.

Choose it for a listing

Open the tour’s Voiceover tab and choose your saved voice where it is available. Review the new property script, generate the narration, then listen for names and numbers. Complete any synchronization step offered and apply the video changes.

Listen to a voice and choose itExample
  1. Listen to a sample before choosing a voice.

Test the voice on a real property sentence

When the saved voice is ready, select it in a tour’s Voiceover tab and generate the checked property script. Listen to the agent name, street name and measurements. Use Pronunciation help where appropriate, wait for alignment and apply the video changes. A saved voice does not change older tours automatically.
