Show subtitles for your voiceover

Display the spoken narration on screen and adjust its appearance.

In this guide

Subtitles follow the spoken narration

Voiceover subtitles display the words in your narration in place of ordinary room captions. They are separate from property-information overlays, agent details and lettering already drawn into an image or video.

Use this option when you want viewers to follow the narration with the sound off. Availability depends on the options offered for your account and video.

Turn on Show subtitles

  1. Open the tour and choose Editor.
  2. Turn on Use a voiceover and prepare a recording in Voiceover if one is missing.
  3. Select Show subtitles beneath the voiceover switch when it is offered.
  4. If you are still creating the tour, look for Show subtitles in its voiceover settings instead.
Subtitles and talking-head optionsExample
  1. Show the spoken narration as subtitles.
  2. Include a generated talking head in the tour.

Check the caption appearance

  1. Use Personalize captions and overlays to review the shared font, size, position and background.
  2. Choose enough contrast for bright and dark rooms, and leave important property details visible.
  3. Apply the changes, then watch the finished tour. Check spelling, timing and readability in the shape you will share.
Make captions clear and easy to readExample
  1. Choose where the words sit on the video.
  2. Add a background behind the words when needed.
